Tour Itinerary
6:00 AM:- From Delhi
Get an early start to the day with a pick up from your hotel in Delhi and a
comfortable and air conitioned vehicle to Jaipur. It should take you 5-6
hours to reach Jaipur, so sit back and enjoy the views of the countryside.
11:00 AM:- Arrival in Jaipur & Amber Fort
Upon arrival in Jaipur you will go directly to the Amber Fort. This amazing
hilltop fort provides the oppertunity to experience Rajasthani royalty, with
its architecture, beautiful temples and excellent courtyard. Make sure you
capture the stunning views of the surrounding Aravalli Hills and the layout
of the city below. You also have the oppertunity to take an elephant ride or
horse cart ride to the entrance of the fort (depends on availability).
1:00 PM:- Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds)
Then you will visit the Hawa Mahal, one of Jaipur's most well-known
monuments. Hawa Mahal, which means, Palace of Winds, was constructed for the
royal women to observe the bustle of the streets, and contains 953 tiny
windows for this reason. This is an incredible photo opp and engaments the
unique architecture of the city.
2:00 PM:- Lunch at an Authentic Rajasthani Restaurant
Indulge in an authentic Rajasthani feast at a local restaurant in Jaipur.
You’ll relish local specialties such as dal baati churma, gatte ki sabzi,
and laal maas – all great sustenance for the rest of your sightseeing
endeavor!
3:00 PM:- City Palace
After lunch, make sure to visit Jaipur's City Palace, a unique mix of Mughal
and Rajput architecture. Roam its beautiful courtyards, museums, and
gardens, while learning a bit about Jaipur's royal heritage. Be sure to stop
by the stunning Chandra Mahal, which continues to serve as a residence for
the royal family of Jaipur.
4:00 AM:- Jantar Mantar
Next, you'll see the Jantar Mantar, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and one of
the largest colonial astronomical observatories in the world! The Jantar
Mantar was built by Maharaja Jai Singh II in the 18th century and contains
some really fascinating instruments that were once used to tell time, parse
eclipses, and note the location of stars.
5:00 PM:- Walking in and out of Local Markets in
Jaipur (optional)
If time allows, round out your day by taking a stroll through the markets of
Jaipur. You'll find lots of people milling about and vibrant and colorful
bazaars filled with fabrics, jewelry, pottery and other crafts. You are very
likely to find a souvenir stop to mark your travels!
6:00 PM:- Leave for Delhi
After a day-long excursion, you will begin your way back to Delhi. As you
return in your vehicle, sit back, take a deep breath, and reflect on your
amazing day!
10:00 PM:- Arrive in Delhi
You’ll return to Delhi around 10:00 PM, and your hotel will be reached, which
will end your day trip to Jaipur!
