Overview

This exciting two-day excursion combines history and nature in a great and wonderful way. You will start with a visit to the magnificent Taj Mahal and historic Agra Fort, before proceeding to the calming Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary (Keoladeo National Park). Bharatpur is a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its vast variety of birds, and is a great tour for those that enjoy nature and history. Once again, all this can be accomplished in two days!

Tour Itinerary

Day 1:- Delhi to Agra & Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary
  • 7:00 AM: Depart from Delhi in a private vehicle.
  • 10:00 AM: Arrive in Agra and tour the Taj Mahal (guided).
  • 12:00 PM: Visit the Agra Fort.
  • 2:00 PM: Lunch at a local Mughlai restaurant.
  • 3:30 PM: Drive to Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary (about 1.5 hours).
  • 5:30 PM: Arrive at Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary, relax the area, and stop for some evening bird watching.
  • 7:00 PM: Check into the hotel near the Bird Sanctuary. Dinner to follow at the hotel.
  • 9:00 PM: Relax and overnight at the hotel.
    • Day 2:- Bird watching and return to Delhi.
